Dr. Scot T Selbo, MD

Dr. Selbo does not listen well. I was a new patient and trying to give an overall history. As I told him of some of my problems, including insomnia and back pain, he was shaking his head no. I asked what that was about and he said he wouldn't prescribe drugs for me. I was insulted! How could he think I was a drug seeker when I was giving him my history. I saw him a few more times but had trouble renewing my blood pressure medication because he did not contact the pharmacy or return calls or emails. When asked about it, he denied receiving any calls or emails. What made me finally decide to find a new doctor was his insistence on me taking antidepressants. I made it clear that I was not depressed and did not want to take them. He did offer a prescription for my insomnia. After I picked it up at the pharmacy and looked it up, I discovered it was an antidepressant! That was the last straw.
