Dr. Scott Wells Ainsworth, MD

I saw this guy. He didn’t touch me only said if you have more symptoms come back. I was not impressed and discussed it with my primary care. After real doctors looked turned out I had a very aggressive form of cancer. If I had followed the guidance from him it would have been a path with no options. Lucky I didn’t. The fact that a doctor does not come across the room to look and ends his visit. Now you’re in the computer if it comes back we will look. A 1 star does add something to his rating I don’t even like to give that. If. I could I would give a negative 5.

Run don't walk!! If I could give a 0 I would! Absolutely the worst medical experience of my life. I had to force introduce myself to get acknowledgement that I came in the room. He was cold, disinterested and looked at his laptop the entire time. He did not speak to "me", he made me feel bad for even being there & seemed more interested in the insurance and qualified visits. I'm literally staring at him waiting for him to look up and then he started ranting instructions on how to take the colon prep, really? I feel like I had a colon prep with this visit. I had scheduled an appointment to meet this man and explain a bit about my history (of which he seemed disinterested) and I'm glad I did. I SHOULD have read reviews like I normally do but due to concerns I wanted to see someone quickly. I would never let him touch a hair on my head much less perform a medical procedure. Needs to retire, frumpy and grumpy. Horrible experience and I told him so before abruptly leaving. I was… extremely upset! The front desk lady was a sweetheart so I'm grateful to have met her.... I hope she finds a better employer! This doctor (and I say that loosely) ...should be investigated. I'm concerned about the elderly who see him, likely to be mistreated and/or taken advantage of...

If you're under age 50, Do Not See This "doctor". He treats you like a number, interrupts you when you're just trying to lay the foundation of your medical history. Was absolutely incompetent and outdated on his medical knowledge. Talked more about his IBS than mine. Wouldn't run tests on symptoms he didn't know I had because he didn't listen. Said such tests like a colonoscopy are for ppl 45 and up. Once again,false. Had to debate with him just to give me basic IBS and GERD meds which he gave no refills on and no follow up visit. He simply didn't care. Wouldn't trust my gastrointestinal system with him much less a corpse.

I landed in UGH with a severe/life-threatening infection in my colon. Ainsworth was supposed to visit me and discuss my medical issues. He never should up and had to be shamed by other hospital staff to do his job. The result was Dr. Ainsworth was beyond rude to me, and hospital staff recommended that I not use him. I chose a different GI doc.

Pre colonoscopy... He charged $150 for the office visit in which it took him all of 10 minutes to review my medical history forms. No other doctor I’ve ever had charged to review medical history forms. But he has rent to pay...

My wife had a procedure done by Dr Ainsworth. He was over an hour late to the hospital. The nurse said he is always late. We received a bill for that on a Wednesday which I paid with bill pay at my bank the next day. We had an appointment with Ainsworth on Monday. My wife gets a call from Ainsworth’s office saying bill needs to be paid before visit. My wife said we paid through online bill pay. The office called back and said they don’t have online bill pay. We went in for the appointment after an hour and a half wait in the office. We were waiting in the room and I hear Ainsworth yell what about (my last name) bill. We were down the hall with the door closed with a room full of people waiting for their appointment in the waiting room., my name was announced. Ainsworth comes in and ask what about this online bill pay. Really? When I said I can’t believe your still talking about that he blamed the girls at the desk. All he is worried about is money. Certainly not anyone’s time. Never… will we go to Ainsworth again.

I HAVE HAD TWO VISITS TO DR. AINSWORTH FOR A COLONOSCOPY. ALL WERE FINE. DR. AND STAFF VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WITH NO COMPLICATIONS.

I had such high hopes finding this practice, only to be beyond disappointed with the overall communications and lack thereof of the entire practice (staff and physician). Truly unprofessional. I have abandoned my pursuit for any further treatment with this practice. There is nothing personal about going to the doctor any more as all they do is sit there looking at their laptop and struggle to input data and have little to no eye contact with the patient. Very sad.

I waited over an hour for him to see me only to have him stare at his computer like he was reading off a Teleprompter. Talk down to me as if I didn’t know what I was talking about, and told me the questions that he was asking were not trick questions. I had a bad feeling right off the bat. He didn’t examine me he didn’t want to listen to my history, I felt like he just was in a hurry To get back to his french fries! I had scheduled a colonoscopy with him because I am new to the area and my GP made an appointment for me. I am canceling the colonoscopy and going elsewhere. Don’t waste your time

Save your money and time. Dr. Ainsworth never even looked at me or examined me. He literally never touched me, looked in my throat, ears or anything. He just sat on his seat, looked at his computer and when he spoke to me he hardly look up from it. He charged almost $200 for me to sit in his company , I guess. I have since found an ENT Dr. that is awesome.
