Dr. Allman graduated from the University of Southern California in 1984 where he earned his Doctorate in Dentistry as a 3rd generation dentist.  After starting his career in Southern California, Dr. Allman relocated to Atlanta in 1991 after marrying his Georgia peach of a wife.  He earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General dentistry in 1992 and Dr. Allman has also completed four continuums of post doctorate training at the Pankey Institute.  The majority of the over 1500 hours of continuing education Dr. Allman has completed have been in the areas of cosmetic and restorative dentistry; occlusion and temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction; implant reconstruction; and removable partials and complete dentures.
He is a member of the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, Hinman Dental Society, Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Dental Association and Georgia Dental Association.  He is also a member of American Equilibration Society, …which is an organization devoted to understanding the role that proper function of the teeth and joints play in a person’s dental health and how to best achieve this harmony of function.  Currently, Dr. Allman is the team Dentist for the Marist School athletic teams as well the Consulting Dentist to Furman University football program.  In addition to spending time with family, his spare time is occupied with home repair projects and wood working.
