Dr. Scott Thomas Arthur, MD

I was referred to Dr. Arthur after already having X-rays, an MRI and an injection through Bone and Joint for ongoing knee pain, catching and instability that significantly affect my mobility and daily life. Unfortunately, he spent very little time examining my knee, asking about my symptoms, or discussing what my X-rays and MRI showed. I was told he could scope my knee but couldn’t promise it would help, or we could try a lubricant injection, and to call when I decided what I wanted to do. I understand there are no guarantees in medicine, but I came to a specialist for his assessment and guidance—not just a list of options. I was visibly crying while discussing how much this is affecting my life and felt very little empathy or concern. I left in tears, without a treatment plan. To make matters worse, the checkout staff were similarly cold when I politely asked how to obtain copies of my imaging, despite my obvious distress. I left feeling dismissed by the entire experience and will be… seeking a second opinion elsewhere.

Honest, transparent, and professional care. Explain the situation clearly in an easy way to understand. Explain the treatment plan needed. I highly recommend Dr. Scott Arthur.

We had a wonderful experience at BJI. Dr Arthur took his time with my son and explained everything in great detail. He came up with a plan to help my son with his injury and to help prevent further injuries. Also all of the staff we interacted with had a smile on their face and were very friendly. Overall it was a great experience.
