Dr. Scott Behnan

Scott M Behnan DDS, MS Dr. Scott Behnan “Dr. Scott” practices orthodontics two days per week in our Clinton Township office.  He was born in Detroit and raised in Rochester Hills.  He is a graduate of Birmingham Brother Rice High School. He attended the University of Michigan for 11 years, where he earned his B.A. in economics in 2002, his D.D.S from dental school in 2006, and finally his M.S. in orthodontics in 2009. In 2010, he became board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Scott Behnan has presented research papers at the American Association of Dental Research and at the University of Michigan, and has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. His research interests include perspectives on the need for optimum oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment. Dr. Scott Behnan spends much of his time with his wife and daughters.  They are excited about having a long-term future in Michigan. Dr. Scott Behnan is an avid …musician and has years of experience playing the piano, guitar, and drums.  He also enjoys travel, reading, soccer, jogging, and spending time with his family.
