Dr. Scott M. Behringer is a Marquette University graduate with over 20 years of experience practicing dentistry in the Lakeshore area. The Smile Clinic's six spacious treatment areas feature digital radiography, a self contained water system, Amtel communication system, nitrous oxide analgesia, CEREC "same day" crown technology, and Kavo electric hand pieces (very quiet, high torque). The design features of the building in combination with the above technology featured the Smile Clinic in an international dental publication upon opening in 1998.
Dr. Behringer has been innovative in aesthetic smile makeovers and has provided dramatic, durable results in over 5,000 cosmetic cases. Written testimonials regarding these and other aspects of the Smile clinic team care and incredible service are available upon request.
Dr. Behringer and his team also understand the importance of continued education to stay abreast of modern dentistry's …technological advancements. His special interests include bleaching, veneers, sedation, CEREC procedures (computer designed same day crowns and fillings), and painless root canal therapy.
Dr. Behringer's personal standards for patients start with establishing a relationship of communication and gentle care to treat each person with the same excellent service and respect as if it was his own mouth.
Dr. Behringer has resided in Manitowoc for over 20 years. His wife, Shelly, is a member of the Smile Clinic Management Team and their leisure time is filled with their daughter, Raven, and son, Ian.
