Dr. Scott Bergman, PhD

Dr. Bergman is amazing! Every time I talk with him, I walk away feeling positive and uplifted. He’s helped me understand what it really means to focus on the things I can control and not get wrapped up in the things I cannot control. No more wasting my energy! I have also learned quite a bit about weight management and forming good habits. Lastly, my favorite conversations with Dr. Bergman are those that include recommended reads. Really, if you need someone to help put things in perspective, I highly suggest Dr. Bergman.

This guy is extremely unprofessional and disgusting. As a bariatric patient of Westchester Bariatric, I needed a psych evaluation done for surgery. He waited several months after the appointment until it was close to surgery only to let me know that unless I had several visits exclusively with him for therapy, he said he would not write the evaluation as the insurance company does not pay him enough for one visit to compensate his time to write the necessary report. Stay as far away as you can from this guy as possible. He will waste your time and money with no shame. If you need services from a psychological professional, seek help elsewhere! He is only out to exploit bariatric patients for unnecessary therapy and hold them up on their procedures with his bait and switch tactic.
