Dr. Scott Brian Berman, MD

Very disappointing experience. The doctor was not able to properly interpret my ultrasound report and needed another physician to review it. This was concerning because interpreting imaging results should be a basic part of the job. It made me question the level of professionalism and competence. In addition, I was charged multiple times even though I did not actually receive a proper consultation. The billing process felt confusing and unreasonable, and it seemed like I was being charged for things that were not clearly explained. When I tried to ask questions, the office staff were not helpful and had a poor attitude, which made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and very disappointing. I would not recommend this office.

I came to Dr. Berman's office for the popular PRP/Vampire Facial. It was worth EVERY penny. My skin is so refreshed and youthful. I look and feel 10 years younger. I am currently on my second session as there are only a handful of visits until you can see the final results. PRP is the BEST way to stimulate Fibroblast activation (cells that start collagen production). Lastly, the most notable part of the experience is that my facial was performed by Dr. Berman who is a very knowledgeable Physician instead of my last facial at a Medspa/Plastic Surgeons office with an Esthetician that only had around 6 months of training because the Dr.'s are too busy.

I do not like this annual exam at all,but Dr. Berman and his staff made me fell so comfortable. I had no wait time and he spent time with me that I needed and answered all my questions also he was very knowledgeable.

As a physician myself, I'm aware of current guidelines for GYN care. Dr. Berman recommended extremely aggressive / overly invasive / overly conservative management which is not the standard of care. I suspect that he generally recommends tests and procedures which are not indicated and which are harmful by exposing women to false positive results. His policies also reflect a paternalistic, cover-my-butt, untrusting attitude that does not respect patient decision making capacity and reeks of the old male-dominated attitude which treats women like promiscuous children who don't know what's good for them.

Im a teenager and i was so scared to go for my first gyn exam the office staff made me so comfortable and when I met Dr. Berman he was so nice I felt as if I knew him for yeas he is very kind and understanding I can tell him anything.

I wish there were six stars, because that is how great he is. I am 54 years old and I have been going to gynecologists since I was 14. NEVER have I had someone as genuine, kind, and professional like Dr. Berman. He answers ALL of my questions in his office, before the exam. I do get upset and cry, but not about the previous poor exams, but because I am so grateful I that I feel safe and comfortable to cry. He is so empathetic. He is gentle and makes you feel like you are the only person in the office. I usually get taken right away and his staff Anna and Chris are amazing and just as kind. I give his business cards to other doctors and tell my friends about him. It is fortunate that I am a Certified Postpartum doula (CAPPA) ; my clients are apprehensive , and need the best OB/GYN. I tell them about Dr. Berman, because he will be the only one to make a POSITIVE difference in your journey. A journey that that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

I can’t say enough about Dr Berman. He and his staff are the BEST. From standard annual checks, to care during pregnancy, birth and postpartum, they do not disappoint. After a handful of doctors that were unwilling and dismissive I found Dr Berman. He has alway listened to my concerns and will discuss the subject until I understand completely by breaking down medical terms that not everyone may understand. His office staff, nurse and ultrasound tech are also very kind and courteous and I always look forward to seeing them. I would recommend Dr Bermans office to everyone without hesitation.

Everytime I have an issue I call over to Dr. Berman's office...where I get the most Caring and Compassionate receptionists on the phone. I have about 100 questions for them and they answer every one. They spend so much time talking to me..and Dr. Berman shows me the same Care and Compassion that his wonderful office staff do. I think they are a great team of medical professionals and I would highly recommend them.

I was referred to Dr. Berman through my daughter and was disappointed when my daughter called me to inform me that as a result of the way SHE was treated by his receptionist who made the mistake that Dr. Berman refused to speak to her or give her an annual exam today. Since I became a patient of Dr. Berman because of my daughter's referral to him I decided to call him to remind him that I became a patient of his because of her and tried to explain the misunderstanding and he still refused to talk to my daughter and was okay to lose us both as a patients. To me that speaks volumes of his character.

I love Doctor Berman...He is an EXCEPTIONAL doctor! The MOST caring Doctor Award goes to him hands down! He really cares about his patients and their happiness. It isn't a show with him,he is as REAL as it gets! He doesn't just care about a name or a reputation and it shows in not only is words but his actions. Dr. Berman gave me great comfort when I was concerned about a medical issue that I was having. I could really tell from my interaction with him that he was bothered that I was bothered...and that means a lot! I saw Dr. Berman on a Friday afternoon and went for testing the following day. Dr. Berman told me that he would personally call me when the test results came back...and just as I had suspected Dr. Berman is a man of his word. He called me back immediately on Monday morning with the results ! Dr. Berman is the BEST DOCTOR on Long Island because of his outstanding communication skills and he is just overall a good genuine person! If you want SUPERIOR care from the best Doctor… on Long Island go to Dr. Berman!
