Dr. Scott Bolding, MD

Dr. Bolding extracted my tooth and did a bone graft in Feb 2023. He placed my implant in Nov 2023 after which I experienced facial pain on the lower lip, chin and gum of the jaw on one side. He said it would get better but it didn’t. He eventually said it was damage to the mental nerve but never called it by its name, trigeminal neuropathy, that I found out when I got second opinions. He gave me the option to block the nerve that would cause permanent numbness. Not a good idea so in Nov 2024 he removed the crown and implant and began the process again with a bone graft. The pain didn’t go away. The nerve damage was permanent. He placed the new implant in Sep 2025 and the crown not for another five months, in 2026. The pain increased as a result of the crown. I asked for a refund, <8% of the $45,000 that I paid him, including bilateral jaw surgery (another bad experience), but he refused. Dr. Bolding has left me with a lifetime of suffering from trigeminal neuropathy. I mostly… managed to not be the “angry” patient, but these three years dragged on and were the worst of my adult life. There are better choices.

Dr. Bolding is a life-changing surgeon. I had so many issues with my jaw joints and airway it was hard to keep track of them all. My airway went down to the size of a coffee stir stick and I was on a CPAP machine my entire adult life. Dr. Bolding not only took care of my TMJ issues, but he gave me a normal size airway. I no longer need a CPAP machine! Dr. Bolding and his team truly made the impossible...possible. I am beyond grateful for all the great care they took of me and the life-changing procedure they did! Thank you!

I called for an appointment, this doctor no longer works at/for the LIttle Falls Office; don't know why he is still listed? Next, they do not do iv anesthesia same day...they want a 'consultation'/fee and then a separate extraction appointment...

Dr. Bolding and his assistants were with me the whole time! I am always overly anxious about everything and this time it was how the IV medicine would feel! Let me just say everything went smooth and amazing! God bless Dr. Bolding and his staff and everyone else at this great establishment!

I have been speaking to a girl named Charla and she is the most unprofessional, mean person I have ever had to deal with. On Dr. Bolding's recommendation we got a MRI of my jaw and sent it to him. They said he would read it and call us. Not only did he NOT read it, Charla refused to send me back the MRI. She said it was in the mail but I called 1 month later and she still hadn't sent it, I asked why and she was then very rude and then hung up on me. Still dont have my MRI. Office staff horrible! Not going there because of the staff.

Highly recommend....very caring

The wait time was outrageous! I sat in the chair hooked up to IVs for over an hour. The nervousness factor was at full scale. Did not feel my time was respected at all, so it cost me far more than the surgery, had to take time off work, pay for babysitter, I almost walked out.
