Dr. Scott Michael Boswell, MD

If you want to get any help do NOT go to him. I have wasted 4 months and 2 appointments and I have never seen him. I am pushed off on the PA who does not care or even show that she wants to help. When you go to see a specialist you would think that one appointment at least you would see him. I have had 3 doctors say that I have a disc out and 4 bulging. The PA solution was to go home and rest and take my pain pills. This is the worst place that you can go if you have any pain or need something done! If you want to see a PA this is the place if you need to see the Dr. good luck! The office personal seem to be put out when you show up for your appointment like you are bothering them and are not very helpful with anything.

Dr. Boswell is a caring and compassionate surgeon. He put the Nevro brand spinal cord stimulator in me for lumbar, buttock and leg pain. I have 95% relief of the pain that kept me from doing the activities I love, especially flower gardening.

His office staff tried to change my appointment the day before, to just his PA , because he was overbooked. He did not ask questions about the history of my situation and immediately advised cortisone injections. I told him I could not have them and that's why my MD sent me there. I told him I could get a wavier. He then told me I needed surgery-then invasive surgery somewhere else. I agreed to do that and I have now seen someone who is in the top of this field. That doctor took the time necessary to talk to me. It might have been better if I had went a different day, but I'm very glad that I went elsewhere. I was able to see a much more experienced doctor in less than 3 weeks.

He is very caring and a very good doctor

Staff could be a little more understanding of patients needs and request.

I really like Dr. Boswell. I have only seen him a couple times but he is a very caring doctor whos goal is to help. I would refet him to anybody who needs a neurosurgeon.
