Dr. Scott Thomas Boyd, MD

Have treated me like a human. I have Chronic Pain and take my medications as prescribed. Other Dr's did not care they were only concerned about themselves. He was able to get me on the right amount without making me feel like a criminal! My pain will never go away but I felt he had it tolerable.

An awesome Doctor all the way around. As for the person who left a review saying that he changed addresses without notifying patients? That is simply not true. I was told where they were moving and when it was happening and I also over -heard the secretary tell several other patients the same thing. The new address was also on their answering machine message.

BEST DOCTOR! ACTUALLY TAKES TIME TO LOOK AT ALL YOUR X-RAYS, MRI'S & MEDICAL INFORMATION! ALSO LISTENS TO HIS PATIENTS, DOESN'T RUSH YOU OUT THE DOOR LIKE A NUMBER!! GREAT..AMAZING BEDSIDE MANNER! KIND, COMPASSIONATE AND EMPATHETIC, A RARITY IN THIS PROFESSION!

Changes address without notifying patients. Very shady.....

Always had to make a second appointment the following day after my appointment. I had to drive 5 hrs to get there. When i asked for referrals i was given names of people who did not treat my condition. When i terminated him because he would not return phone calls durning Christmas holidsys and i went to ER and was dumped from my pc for drug seeking because he couldnt return a phone call!. Then when asked for a letter he stated he recommended a scs to my husband and i and made us a shrink appt and he never saw me again. I NEVER agreed to a scs as treatment and after his referrals i called the receptionist and fired him!

This doctor is absolutely wonderful! The only complaint that I have is that no one answers the phone. You always have to leave a message and hope they call you back. On a few occasions, I have had to call and leave several messages as I have not gotten a return call. That really is my only complaint - Dr. Boyd is the best and absolutely saved my life - I would recommend him to anyone!

I did not find Dr. Boyd to be very friendly or patient oriented. He sent me for a series of worthless spinal injections for a damaged nerve in my foot. I believe he sent me there because he owns the Minimally Invasive Spinal Injection clinic at Exempla. I felt used and was going nowhere with pain relief. I started looking for other Doctors. I found the most friendly, personable, caring Doctor up in Ft Collins who was able (and willing) to remove the damaged nerve. It worked over night so that I was no longer taking perocet and oxycontin around the clock. I believe Dr. Boyd's view of pain (spinal reflexes) is very much out dated.

Dr. Boyd is the best doctor I've ever seen or known. He's a great pain doctor and anesthesiologist and very compassionate, and empathizes with you and cares about you as a patient. He goes the extra mile to make sure you are cared for, feel at ease and makes sure you feel like his top priority as a patient. He's a very caring doctor and person who always puts the needs of his patients ahead of all else. He's quite simply the best. He helped me to understand my condition and understand that I should never feel bad because of my medical condition. I define my health. My health doesn't define me. Dr. Boyd is an unbelievably great doctor. Period. I was born with a rare joint disorder called Arthrogryposis. Dr. Boyd knew all about AMC and researched even more to help me out. He is a great doctor and great friend to his patients. He's the best doctor I've ever known and I've met my share. I highly recommend him as a doctor and a human being. (Even though he is a Nebraska fan.) Just joking.… He's a great doctor.
