Dr. Scott John Boyle, DO

Thisn rating is for Eric Sherman, DNP, CRNP-BC; He works with Dr Boyle; I have been seeing Eric for several injuries including Knee, Ankle, back and carpal tunnel; He is the best CRNP in the area. I've been to Geisinger, LVHN and he is above all the other "doctors" by far!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!

Dr. Boyle is exceptional. His staff care about your every need. He makes you feel comfortable talking to him. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Boyle is one of the finest surgeons I ever had. He makes the impossible medical treatments seem simple. He is caring with great personality. There is no better health care possible, anywhere.

Rude staff. Xray tech is so miserable she obviously hates her life and herself! All the staff there obviously hate their jobs and take it out on the patients. If you hwve ever been there do yourself a favor and request copies f your medical records, you will find plenty of errors! And they document things that never happened or was not done.. go somewhere else for treatment this office is a joke! All you are is a number there.

My right knee replacement was performed nearly 6 years ago and I am doing well. I need the left replaced now and would choose Dr. Boyle without any reservations, but I relocated to South Carolina. I highly recommend him as a surgeon and caregiver but if you are looking for somebody to replace your mommy he may not be what you are looking for.

I have been seeing Dr. Boyle for years. He has operated on my foot. ( Hanglands Deformity ) I know walk 5 -10 miles a day FABULOUS results. He has operated on my shoulder (Bicept Resection ) I lift weight now and have no pain or issues. He has operated on my hand ( released 3 trigger fingers ) I'm typing this review NO ISSUES. He is scheduled to operate on my had again for a carpal tunnel. When I need a doctor I want someone who knows their job. I don't want a best friend. I laugh at the reviews that talk about personality. Do you want someone who knows their stuff or someone to sit by the campfire and sing Kumbaya with? Personally, I chose the knowledge. If you're looking for someone with skills, knowledge and the ability to fix you, see Scot. If you're looking for a buddy, join the boy scouts!

No bedside manner. Seemed too busy to take the time for any questions and gave vague answers. Saw this doctor twice. Initial visit, one follow up. Never checked in before or after surgery. Had am infection after the surgery and blew it off as just post op pain. Surgical stitch left in place that the nurse found and was scheduled then to have second surgery to have it removed. And for a ten minute surgical procedure, I had to be knocked out, for carpal tunnel. Would not do a local. But did a local to remove stitch. Second hand done and again refused to do local again.

I was told I would need a hip replacement in the future and to notify office when I was ready...I called over a year later to let them know now was the time...I waited 3 weeks for an appointment, arrived at office, paid my $40 copay, was told by a snotty X-Ray tech that they had no X-Rays or any info on my previous visits to the office (she found my records after the 3rd search for them), then the PA told me they had a recall on their hips from the manufacturer and they are no longer doing that surgery. Could have told me over the phone and saved me 3 weeks and 40 bucks. Also, told me previous physical therapy on my arthritic shoulders from another Doctor was a waste of time and unproductive, then tried to get me to do same from his therapy center next door.

He's gone into his field of practice for all the right reasons!

Today was my 1 year check-up after a knee replacement, I am doing great, it was the best thing I ever did and I have only have praise for Dr. Boyle and Joe. They set me free from pain and now I am able to do things with my Grandchildren that I was not able to do before. I would and do recommend Dr. Boyle to everyone who is in pain. His physical therapy staff also did a great job, they never give up on you and are very helpful.
