Dr Carpenter diagnosed my condition after three other doctors missed it. Twisted colon. I had pain over a year. He looked at CAT SCAN and found problem. He preformed the surgery fixed problem. Thanks Doc

Friendly and knowledgeable, Dr. Carpenter is one of the few doctors in Abilene with prior experience with gastric bands. He was able to identify my issues and offer me solutions within the first visit and with his skill in robotic surgery, post-op recovery went smoothly. Would recommend to anyone with similar issues.

Dr.Carpenter is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful human being. He is kind, patient and understanding. He has been a surgeon for many years and it is obvious that he really loves helping and healing people. He recently removed a tumor for my husband and he called him personally at home to check on him. He even had a FaceTime appointment with him so he wouldn’t have to go to town for his follow up. If you’re looking for a wonderful surgeon and a wonderful man then look no further.

Dr Carpenter identified my problem, explained everything that would be done to fix the problem and how long recovery would be. After the operation he explained what I needed to do to recover properly. When I did have a concern two days after operation he called me back within minutes and talked to me on the phone until I was satisfied. Two week follow up appointment went great with him again explaining and answering all my questions. I would definitely go back to Dr. Carpenter.

Took as much time as I needed to prepare me for what to expect before during and after operation. Gave clear instructions following the operation and eased all my concerns in post operation follow up. Very easy to get in touch with two days after operation when I had a concern. Every thing went perfectly and I would definitely go back to Dr. Carpenter.

Dr. Carpenter is tremendous! He is very knowledgeable, skillful, and personable. In understandable terms he explained my condition (inguinal hernia), the additional side effects I was experiencing, what the surgical procedure would be like, and the recovery spectrum I could expect. It was impressive having a former patient of his come to me in the hospital and tell me how great their experience with him had been. It was also impressive to experience his attentiveness prior to my surgery and to see how much the hospital staff respects him. I am thankful to God for a physician like Dr. Carpenter. His Office staff have also been tremendous and very friendly.

Dr. Carpenters staff from the referral visit to the hospital and the follow up was excellent. I had the robot hernia repair surgery with a quick recovery. After just 9 days I ran a 5k, and then the following day a half 13.1 marathon with no side effects. I highly recommend this surgical team and office.

Dr. Carpenter did my cholecystectomy. He is the nicest and most caring doctor I’ve ever had. He was very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. He took his time with me and made me feel like I was a priority. He even considered the cosmetic outcome of my surgery. He is the best!
