He also has a specialized focus on advanced procedures, vision and learning, concussions, and neuro-ophthalmic cases. Dr. Caughell became nearsighted at an early age and credited his eye doctor for helping him to see better after each visit. He has always loved the power of science and the importance vision has in all aspects of life. Continuing to learn and solve difficult problems for patients brings joy to Dr. Caughell. He does this by taking the time to listen and truly working to figure out complex visual and eye health issues. Dr. Caughell enjoys being an advocate for his patients, helping them not only with vision care but also associated overall health …and systemic problems relating to the eyes. When Dr. Caughell is not treating patients, he enjoys watching his boys play soccer, being active in church activities and missions work, fishing, fixing tractors, and helping Veterans.
