Dr. Scott Chowning, MD

We love Prosper Pediatrics! Doctor is excellent and caring, staff is great and has gone out of their way to help us through a severe illness with my son. They went the extra mile to figure out what was wrong with him and were very friendly and personable towards my family. They get my highest recommendation.

Doctor is great and listens very well to my concerns, he is also great with kids and makes them laugh. Staff is also very nice and goes out of their way to help patients, the staff also is great with kids and makes them feel comfortable.

Doctor is excellent but his clerks or nurses(not for sure their title is) are not pleasant people. When you work with children you are suppose to be compassionate and be setting an example for them. The two women work for him are rude. One of them being young.

Outstanding! I am so impressed. No complaints. I can highly recommend Dr. Chowning.

Excellent doctor! Definitely will keep him for my son. Very knowledgeable and efficient doctor. He answered all my questions clearly and fully. We felt easy and comfortable.

We have been going to Dr Chowning over the last 7 months for our twins and he is always very thorough, knowledgeable, and great with kids! He takes time to explain things to us and always gives us enough to time to ask plenty of questions. He makes our kids laugh and feel very comfortable in the clinic. Highly recommend this pediatrician to anybody looking for one!

We have been going to Dr. Chowning at the Heritage Trace location and I want to give him 5 stars, he is AWESOME and his clinic is great! First, I loved the clinic design. They have 2 different entrances with separate waiting rooms, one for sick kids and the other one for well child visits. That way if your child is there for a well visit you wont be sitting in the same room as the sick kids. They also have separate exam rooms, so you can rest assured that the room your child is in was not used previously by a sick child. Secondly, the clinic staff was great. Front desk was very helpful and friendly, they processed everything quickly and got us checked in and back to the room very promptly. Our nurse Stephanie was very nice kid-friendly, she made us feel right at home and got my kids to laugh! Last, Dr. Chowning is a real gem and one of the best doctors I have ever met! Every time I have gone there we have always gotten to see the same doctor, which is something that some… of the larger clinics cant offer. He gets along great with my kids, he is very gentle, he gives us plenty of time to answer questions. I have not found a previous doctor who is as patient and knowledgeable as he is and I'm glad we found this clinic.

Dr. Chowning genuinely cares about your child. He doesn't treat you as just another patient. I feel he really wants to know about my son and give him the best treatment possible. I feel he was God sent!!

Dr. Chowning is a wonderful doctor. We never feel rushed, he always takes the time to talk to us, and he's great with our kids. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great pediatrician in the Keller area!

Great guy and a thorough doc. Took time to explain everything to us, called us a few days later to see how our son was doing. Highly recommend!
