Dr. Scott Erik Clemensen, MD

A doctor who always wants to protect himself and not the patient. He will not order additional testing unless the patient asks for it. I'm disappointed in him. I think he believes in his bottom line and doesn't want to cost the company money at the expense of not diagnosing the problem.

I have had asthma since 1987. I don’t like using meds, but I have had to use inhalers. On occasion, I have gotten a cold that goes into my chest, and when I do, I need a short burst of prednisone to clear out my lungs. Spraying more inhalers on top of the mucus doesn’t help much. I do not like using prednisone, but have realized that sometimes I simply have to. I messaged the doctor requesting a short course of prednisone, as well as an increase in my dosage for my steroid inhalers, because dramatically increasing my inhalers is the only way I can keep my lungs clear. The doctor denied my request for prednisone because of his typical protocols. I must add that I am 850 miles away from my home, so scheduling an in-person appointment is not an option. Evidently the doctor has never taken the Hippocratic Oath to first do no harm, because his denial of my request for a $5 prescription that would easily solve this problem is clearly causing me unnecessary suffering.

There is certainly a reason that he gets such abysmal reviews. I will spare you the details but seek out a different DR.

Dr. Clemensen is aweful. He is cruel and unfair to chronic pain patients.

Dr Clemensen was very professional and definitely felt like he listened well and understand my health perspectives. I have been around health care for over 20 years as a management consultant. I found him to be upfront, clear about his approach and I felt like I could easily engage around any health concerns. I look forward to working with him.

Dr. Clemenson is the most unprofessional Dr. I have ever seen. Threw a temper tantrum.
