Dr. Scott William Cohen, MD

I never do this, I am One to always encourage and support businesses and professionals will but this left a bad taste in my mouth. I booked a prenatal appointment with Dr Cohen and was charged in advance 100$ for a zoom meeting. Then to my surprise had a zoom meeting with 6 other parents at the same time. I couldn’t talk about my personal medical conditions with the dr or anything and was charged ahead of time for this. There is also a 345$ annual fee outside of all the consultations. This is common now but thought I’d mention it. I called other pediatricians who do not charge for a meet and greet and were shocked dr Cohen charged for a 40 min zoom with a group of parents . He seemed lovely but this was unfortunately too upsetting

We are thoroughly satisfied, as are both our children, with the care Dr. Cohen has provided us. Yes, he is busy educating and providing health care services to underprivileged populations, so we share his efforts among many children in need and we are honored our children are in Dr. Cohen's good hands.

We've been seeing Dr. Cohen for nearly 4 years and are quite happy with him. He always spends quality time with us and answers all questions.When we have a sick child and need to be seen the same day that is never a problem, in fact, we are scheduled for a time that works best for us, either am or pm. However, when it comes to well-child exams those have been pushed out beyond 3 months. That's not a big deal because it's just a routine exam, and unless we are we waiting for immunizations the date doesn't really matter.

Dr. Cohen used to be a good pediatrician. Though he spends time with you at each scheduled visit, it takes 3-4 months to schedule a routine visit and whenever your child is sick, you see a part-time (locum tenems) pediatrician-- a different one each time! Communication with the office is a real issue as the staff and Dr. Cohen NEVER return phone calls. He used to have a great nurse but she moved away. The present nurse is not at all friendly and does not put the kids at ease-- and she's the one who gives all the shots, weighs them, etc. He's not a bad doctor, but he and his office are simply too busy to provide good service. We have lost confidence in them and are looking to switch doctors.
