Dr. Scott Anthony Coonrod, MD

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Coonrod for 20 years. He is a concerned, experienced, up-to-date caregiver in all areas. If he feels a specialist is required he quickly refers us but first provides an understanding about our complaints. His manner is relaxed, personable, interested, professional. Highest kudos for he and his staff.

Dr. Coonrod blatantly ignored my symptoms of uncontrollable pain, and advised me to not seek further medical help from any doctors. He said, "Suck up the pain go to work and soldier through it." He said ignore my pain because after little testing did not find a cause, even though I have a disease that has common symptoms of stomach and small intestinal ulcers and have a personal history of having ulcers. When challenged about ignoring symptoms he yelled "Who's the one with the medical degree." I discussed the visit I had with Dr. Coonrod with my specialist who sees me for my disease and he said Dr. Coonrod had given me some of the worst medical advise he had ever heard.

I reccomend him highly . The only problem is he is so popular that some times you have to see aP.A. , which kind of defeats the purpose of seeing a great Dr.

He is very caring, listens to what I am saying. you dont feel ike he is in a hurry to get you out of there! Genually cares for your well being. Great partnership with his nurse Jennifer~
