I would not recommend Dr. Scott Crafton to anyone, friend or not. He takes very little time with his patients . After switching to Dr. Crafton for local service, I soon found out I had made a big mistake . I was given an astronomical quote for dental work, one being for two crowns. I asked his hygienist,( since I rarely was allowed to talk to him,) if I could get a temp. Crown or filing until I could afford the real thing. She had him to come back into the room I was in just to tell me "No." So, months while trying to save the $ to do his suggested work , I decided I simply couldn't afford his "service." I found another local dentist w/o the fancy lobby/ office whom was more personable more experienced and less costly. Yes all this and he didn't even need the upscale setting.... Hum. He performed great work for 1/4 of the price Dr. Crafton had quoted. On top of all this, I found out I could have saved my teeth mentioned earlier needing the crowns by simply filing the teeth temporarily… until I could scrape together his fee or finally wised up, like I did, and found a real dentist, with real values and more cost effective. Now the teeth are 2 far gone & Im left with the only option of having them removed. Which has left me not oabout my smile,or lack thereof but losing the 2 teeth may cause lack of support for surrounding teeth. Other dental work Crafton ( now leaving the title of Dr. Off) said was necessary was found not to be the case at all. I have had the real necessary work done and repairs made by someone who actually takes time to explain every procedure to me leaving me with no questions or doubts. And money still in my bank account. People that go to Crafton must enjoy the esthetics of the waiting room. Which by the way had a selection of pricey coffees.....
