Dr. Scott Gregory Cutler, MD

My lumbar spinal single fusion left me in a lot of pain in 2015 and even worse still 7 years later. He hasn’t been able to recommend me to anybody that’s done anything. I’ve seen 11 specialists and had 9 injections. I have chronic pain in the 7 range that’s disabling. He doesn’t have a clue what to do or where to send me. I’m near out of options. Also he did a c-spine triple fusion on me in 2013. In 2018 one of the screws in the hardware came lose and began protruding into my esophagus. (Fortunately it did not puncture it.) He had to perform surgery to remove the hardware. The man has an excellent reputation. But after 2 botched surgeries no way I can recommend him. BTW if you do go to him you’ll hear his sales pitch. When you come in he’ll have your films up on computer screen and say right off the bat “look you’re bone on bone.” In fact, the term “bone on bone” refers to osteoarthritis and particularly in knees. You can Google it yourself. It doesn’t refer to spinal issues.

My husband went in to the ER with headaches. Dr. Cutler was on call. Turns out my husband had a brain tumor that needed to be removed immediately. Dr Cutler did an amazing job both prior to the surgery and after. You can barely even see the scar where he operated at. The tumor was the size of a lemon and you cant see the scar. I would recommend him to anybody. Dr. Cutler is a lifesaver!!!

He’s done 3 surgeries on me. All went well. Everyone at hospital swear he’s the best. He’s a man of few words but doesn’t rush you. He’ll answer all your questions. Just don’t expect drawn out answers.

I had major complications after neck surgery. He did not accept responsibilty. Beware of doctors who could not get into Medical school and had to flee to Mexico for training.

Very prompt with appointment, courteous staff, accurate diagnosis and treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Cutler.

I have been seeing Dr Cutler for many years. I had a bone spur removed 3 years ago and no more issues. I recently have developed some neck issues Dr Cutler one again saw me and help me get steroid injections to postpone surgery. He is an excellent doctor and I am thankful to have him.

Dr. Cutler took the time to answer all of my questions, and to explain in detail the results from my MRI. I will eventually need to have surgery, but he encouraged me to put having my L5-S1 fusion surgery off as long as possible. He suggested I try steroid injections before doing any surgery. I have heard many stories about how doctors are quick to tell you you need surgery asap. It was nice to be referred to a honest doctor! Would definitely recommend Dr. Cutler to friends and family. When I do need surgery, I will definitely go back to him.

I have been seing Dr. Cutlet for more then 5 years now. Always able to get an appointment as needed, excellent office staff and 5 to 10 minutes waiting to be call. Dr. Cutlet is an Excellent Doctor. Ms.Juddy the secretary is very nice.
