From Missoula, Scott pursued his education in the Northwest attending college in Washington and Oregon before finishing his undergraduate degree in pre-med at Montana State. Initially, Scott started his professional career as a teacher at a travelling high school, which allowed him to travel throughout the world prior to re-establishing back in Missoula and ultimately pursuing medicine as his true calling. As a physician assistant Scott is grateful for the flexibility this role provides, allowing for the pursuit of various specialties and interests. After beginning with family practice in 2014, Scott pursued orthopaedics for eight years, before choosing to pursue more acute care medicine with the First Care clinics at Community. When not working in the medical setting, Scott continues to enjoy the Montana …outdoors: whitewater kayaking, bird hunting or ski patrolling.
