Dr. Scott Ronald Dunn, MD

I can't believe he has a low rating. When my husband went in for stomach issues, he diagnosed cancer quickly and had him set up with a cancer specialist in Post Falls. We later transferred to Seattle Cancer center for a new drug. They were awful. When it came to the last stages of my husband's life, only Dr Dunn was honest with us. He was helpful, understanding, and patient. I would recommend him any day of the week.

I have to laugh at all the whiny reviews. He listens & makes good recommendations. Suggested a less invasive option which properly diagnosed my health issue. I expect politeness from anyone but I don't need someone to hold my hand & whimper with me. I need someone with brains, experience & education. I found him personally to be very pleasant but that is at the bottom of why I would go to any physician. I also would NEVER decide which physician to go to based on random unverified reviews online. Go in for an appointment, if you don't like a physician's diagnosis, get a second opinion. NO ONE is god. And that includes YOU. (the patient) Just because you don't like a diagnosis or your options doesn't mean they are wrong.

Should quick seeing patients because he clearly has no manners and doesn’t care about anyone but himself he is lazy and doesn’t bother to run tests or review medical history. He is incompetent which is dangerous.

With that zero stars was an option! Can’t believe this hack is still licensed to “practice” medicine. His partner MD is just a younger version of Dunn with the same incompetence. Avoid Dunn and his office if you value your life!

This guy is a joke and needs to quit practicing. I’ve seen toddlers with better attention spans and I’ve never had a dr pay less attention to my systems than this guy. Avoid! Much better care is available in our town.

With other actual competent & patient focused doctors in Sandpoint, there is no reason anyone should be a patient of Scott Dunn! He doesn’t care about patients’ health or safety. He doesn’t put effort into diagnoses. He over-medicates & sedates patients so they won’t bother him. Sandpoint would be safer & healthier if he quit playing doctor & his family quit pretending to care about the people in this town.

Terrible doctor! Overly medicates you hoping you will stop complaining of pain. Misses obvious cancer due to lack of simple diagnostic tests, even when you have good insurance. Should have his license revoked - is that bad!

Incompetent doctor who is lazy when it comes to elderly patients. Multiple misdiagnoses which nearly resulted in death over past 10 yrs and now completely misses CANCER because he is too lazy to run simple tests to determine cause of 6+ month severe stomach pain. Instead prescribes stool softeners, laxatives and anxiety meds. Went to Sacred Heart/Spokane where doctors immediately perform tests, easily see cancerous tumors and perform emergency surgery but 6+ months wasted time with Dunn results in advanced cancer stage that may not be able to cure.

Dr. Dunn has provided me with excellent medical care over the past year. He listens well, communicates clearly, and spends an appropriate amount of time during an office visit. He even called me over the weekend to check on my progress which reflects his level of commitment and caring. He has treated me for a range of complex issues including chronic pain, depression, respiratory infection, and insomnia.

My wife recently left me and took our two kids, my fear of their well being has been overwhelming me at work which is sales. Unempathetic, unwilling, practicing medicine on his own feeling of rightesousness insted of asking the patient what it will take to solve the problem. They keep throwing anti depressants, blood pressure medication, and antihistamines at me when one pill will take care of the issue. Not my first visit either folks, i habe been there seven times, sent to bgh once for the treadmill stress test and have spent endless money all for what? I dont want anyone to go through what i have at this office.
