Dr. Scott D Eggers, MD

Dr. Eggers is an insulting, condescending, arrogant, and cold person who really doesn't care. He diagnoses women as hysterical and recommends a fainting couch. After having sepsis, I have bouts of low blood pressure and a low heart rate where I become lightheaded and have nearly fainted several times. He basically said it was all in my head and that I was stressed out. I am stressed out because if I fall I could hit my head and get a brain bleed because I am on blood thinners. He called this "catastrophic thinking" and recommended that I go on and live my life. Dr. Eggers would have been a great Victorian doctor.

Went to the Mayo Clinic after years of searching or a diagnosis for my dizziness. Spent months trying to get in with him. Finally when I saw him he basically said it was all in my head and that I should exercise more and eat healthy. I was so upset I walked out crying. That was 2 years ago and since then I’ve found a new neurologist near me who successfully diagnosed me with a condition called Vestibular Migraine and treated me and I’m doing better than I have been in 5 years. This doctor didn’t seem to care or want to try to work with me to figure anything out. Waste of time and money!
