Summary
After growing up in the East, and spending my undergraduate years and first two years of medical school at Dartmouth, I moved west to complete the clinical years of medical school in Seattle, where my lifelong interests in hiking, climbing, and skiing fully evolved.
After returning for neurology training at Dartmouth, I practiced neurology in Alaska for 14 years, and then in western Colorado for 13 years before coming to Oregon. I have children in Seattle and New York.
About my practice
I have practiced all aspects of general clinical neurology, but my primary interest is in the diagnostic process, and in medical decision making. It is my belief that very careful attention to these areas gives our primary care providers, and patients, the information they require to best manage and make decisions about what can be very difficult problems.How I thrive
