Dr. Scott Fisher, MD

Dr. Fisher is knowledgeable, patient, kind, with an excellent bedside manner. Performed my surgery with absolutely no complications and a quick and easy recovery. Highly recommend.

Dr. Fisher was my surgeon in 2005 or 2006. I was referred by another doctor. My condition was dire, according to the tests and the opinion of the other doctor. Dr. Fisher said he didn't think that was the correct diagnosis and sent tests for another opinion. It turned out that extra step saved me a lot of worry and unnecessary treatment. I could not thank him enough or say enough good things about him. He then performed my surgery and my recovery was good. I would have posted this years ago if I had known it was here.

Appt was at 1pm. Nurse rudely told me not to be late and to arrive by 12:30. I showed up at 12:15 to find a not taped to their door that read "Our door will open at 1pm thank you". Dr. entered exam room at 1:45 and I left the exam room to head to scheduling at 1:53 if that gives you any idea about how much time he spent with me. Was sarcastic and rude, not at all compassionate or caring about my situation. Did not discuss the pros or cons of surgery, only asked me to sign the consent form and showed me to his nurse to set up the appointment. Despite having severe and frequent gallbladder attacks my surgery was scheduled for 3 weeks out. I wasn't given an option to have the surgery anywhere but the fancy Audobon center, which YOU pay for through a facility fee. When I got home I spoke with my regular physician who was outraged at my crappy treatment and advised me to see someone else. I gave this physician a 2 star rating for Follows Up After Visit because instead of making sure… I got a 7 day post op appointment the nurse stretched it out to 13 days saying "that should still be ok". Avoid Colorado Surgical Associates, they just want your money. You should feel good about who is slicing into your belly. Go to North Surgical instead. I'm writing this review on all of the physicians in this practice because what one does reflects on all of them. Based on the other reviews it sounds like my experience is the norm here anyway. Maybe if their wallets get hit Colorado Surgical will get back to patient CARE.

Check your bills and make sure they are correct this office won't own up to a mistake and everything is your insurance's fault. They treat you as if you are stupid and can't possibly know anything about medical billing and coding. I won't go back for my last follow up since it's not "required" too bad I would have like for dr. Fisher to see my fInal results. Again he is a great doctor, but watch your wallet.

Dr. Fisher is a very good doctor. He will sit and listen to your concerns, I never feel rushed, When I am in pain he is quick to respond,he takes the time to talk to my husband after surgery to give a update.(I have had 3 different types of surgery and I would go to him in a heartbeat) He has very good bedside manner.I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Fisher took the time to read my husband's previous record before the first appointment. He has been caring and very cooperative to help us.
