Dr. Scott Roy Friedstrom, MD

I have had the unfortunate experience of being ill for quite some time. (10 years) I have been treated by literally 100s of doctors during this period. I have had dozens of hospital admitting. Dr. Scott Friedstrom is truly the most caring, considerate, compassionate, knowledgeable, reactive doctor I’ve ever had the privilege of have worked with. I was dealing with a accident where I’ve had several surgeries and during one I got and infection in my knee. My knee has been a open wound for nearly 9 months now. I’ve had a horrible time getting doctors to collaborate and work together to solve my very complicated situation. I’m a dialysis patient which adds a level of complications to my illness and infection. Dr friedstrom has gone above and beyond what any doctor has ever done to try to make me well again. He’s been truly a god send. He takes the time to sit down next to you and discuss your situation. He is the strongest patient advocate of any doctor I’ve ever had. He has… taken the time to fully understand my complex issues and has harnessed all the proper doctors together to make them fully aware of my problems. He has always called me back within minutes of leaving him a message about my care. Wether it be at 6:00 am or on a Sunday night at 9:00 pm he’s an amazingly caring doctor. An has is single handedly responsible for a path to my recovery. He’s been instrumental in my care without his knowledge and superb bed side manners I’m sure that my situation would be far worse. If you have a issue pertaining to needing a excellent Infectous disease doctor. I would absolutely recommend getting him involved as a part of your treatment team and part of your road to recovery. Dr. Friedstrom was able to diagnose and treat the cause of repeated pneumonia's. His bedside manner is positive and gives the patient assurance of a better quality of life. I have nothing but good experiences with him. I highly recommend him if you have repeated illnesses.
