If Icould give negative stars, I would. I'm posting this as many places as possible. I was a new local resident this year, and I called to make sure that this company accepted my eye insurance. I have had the same insurance for years, and I have never paid more than a standard $10 copay. I went to see them in May, and I received the same standard eyeglasses prescription exam that I have always received. However, they were unable to complete my exam at my first visit bc they dilated my eyes before finishing the prescription part of the exam. So, I had to come back a week later just to get my prescription (I have no additional eye medical concerns). Three months later, they sent me a bill and told me I owed them $250 because the doctor is a medical specialist. All I needed was an updated prescription, and they charged me more than I've ever paid for a combined exam and pair of glasses before. This place is a mess and unprofessional and ridiculously expensive. Please avoid them… at all costs!

While I am pleased with the results of my cataract surgery, my appointments averaged 2.5 hours. This is entirely too long. I will find another doctor for future eye care.
