Dr. Scott Anthony Ghere, DO

He is the best doctor I have ever had. HE explains things in ways I understand. He is sensitive to my needs and is very carrying. He does not lecture or talk down to me.

Dr Ghere took over the practice of my long time physician. At age 66 I was very nervous to change Drs. Dr Ghere was so kind and reassuring. I felt like I was the only pt he had. . my husband and I both saw him the same day and left the 1st visit feeling very comfortable and safe with him caring for us. Thanks Dr. You are the best.

Power trip and ego. I told him something and later saw what he wrote about the subject and it wasn’t what I said at all. I hope he can find another profession.

I went in with major lower back pain and nausea, asked for a UTI test because I do not get the common burning pain. He tried to talk me out of the test but then gave in. When the test came back he wouldn't say I had a UTI, only stated I had protein in my urine; it was as if he didn't want to admit he was wrong. Glad I didn't follow his recommendation.

i like Dr.Ghere because he doesn't mind to tell you his honest opinion. He always listens to me, but he will tell me if he disagrees with what my assessment. He has prevented me from having unnecessary surgery, so I trust him completely with my health decisions.

I've been with Dr. Ghere for about 7 years and he has always been outstanding. He's very courteous and he listen's to you. He has helped me with my asthma problem. I will always go to Dr. Ghere.

This MD certainly failed in bedside manners, courtesy, and professionalism. He could not have been less interested in my recent ER stay (ER recommended him) or in my current medical situation. I need good guidance. He was dismissive and contemptuous. I rarely come upon such an unimpressive medical deity with massive ego to boot - I would avoid him at all costs, and go anywhere else.

you cant ask this Dr. any questions, he gets mad and is very rude. He is not a DR. i would ever go back to or recommend.

This is one of the most horrific visit I have ever had. He did not help me at all ,kept saying I had? ? I am not convince he know what he is talking about.Run run run to a competient doctor.

I had to find a new physician because my doctor of approximately 8 years had left this office recently. I only chose this doctor because he is in the same office as my former one. WHAT A MISTAKE!! I was never able to even discuss my health issues. This QUACK already had his mind made up about me before he met me. He stopped most of my meds that I have been taking for years without even discussing decreasing dosage over time and expect me to quit cold turkey? I am over a 100lbs.over wt and that was never even brought up! If that was even a concern, he probably would have said that I am not too fat, but just too short. I am 5'8, over 260lbs.! Guess this so called health care professional did not even notice this. I have many health issues ie severe sleep apnea, chronic pain issues due from my disability of 21 years, and I have a terminal, progressive illness . His comment to me was that of which I was not going to like him. Well he is right!! What kind of doctor does not… listen to his patients - AT ALL? He told me that what little pain med I was taking was telling my brain that my body hurt so I can have pain meds. Wow!! I guess my pain has nothing to do with the fixation plate with 6 screws in my neck plus the chronic back problems of which I have already have had 3 surgeries. So I guess from this I learned that my pain was being caused by the small dosage of pain medicine I was taking. What a "sharp" doc, huh? I guess I need to call OSU and ask what day they discussed pain management as this doc missed that day!!! He INSULTED my previous physician saying he did not know what he was doing. He looked at his watched the entire visit pointing out that he was not making any money on his visit with me since it had been almost an hour. RUN RUN RUN. THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR NEEDS HIS LICENSE REVOLKED!!!
