Dr. Glaser is a co-founder and President of the Pain Specialists of Greater Chicago and has seen it grow into a preeminent practice in Chicago. He is well respected within the field of interventional pain management and has published, lectured, and taught extensively. He has been elected multiple times by his peers to the national board of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) by his peers and has held multiple positions in the Illinois Society of Interventional Pain Physicians including President.

Dr. Glaser has achieved all of the important certifications in the field of Interventional Pain Management. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians. This is acknowledged to be the highest level of credentialing for the field of interventional pain management. He is also a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice, a certification given by the World Institute of Pain and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in pain …management.

Dr. Glaser serves as an Instructor for ASIPP teaching other physicians minimally invasive spinal procedures on cadavers at nationally recognized ASIPP courses. He also presents continuing medical education lectures at ASIPP meetings. Dr. Glaser’s greatest joy, however, is treating and educating individuals suffering from pain in his busy practice using all the modalities of interventional pain management.

Dr. Glaser has articulated a vision for Interventional Pain Management which he practices every day. That vision is for specialists in this field to be the first physicians to treat patients after musculoskeletal injuries during the subacute phase and to manage all of their care. If the patient’s pain does not respond to conservative care, we are equipped with every minimally invasive procedure and treatment algorithms to treat the sources of their pain. Such a paradigm provides earlier relief, better outcomes, reduces ER visits and hospitalizations, and is the most logic.

I made an appt to have my medical cannabis card renewed and my doc is no longer in network so I had to self-pay. They would not take my husband's card even tho I am an authorized user and I cancelled my appt. But I then went back and apologized and explained why I had been so emotional due to some stressful life events, bc I really need the card renewed. They refused my apology and made me wait 35 mins to tell me the OM will call me. When I tried to get back home with Uber my husband's card, it had been flagged as fraudulent and I was stranded at the office until a kind patient offered me a ride home. When the OM called me back, she treated me with disrespect, would not accept my explanation or apology and made me cry. I cannot go back now, I called today, and the receptionist said I cannot come back, even though I apologized and explained I was going through some stressful life events, for a third time. I was a patient for eight years and I do not recommend this practice.

had come in as a self-pay to get my medical cannabis card renewed bc the doctor is no Ionger in my network. I brought in my husband's credit card, which I'm an authorized user of, and the front desk said that they had to call him and get his verbal consent for me to use the card. He was unable to answer, so I used my own card, but I really didn't have the money to pay and I was nervous about it. Also, my husband was in a car accident the week before and I had no car and had taken an Uber there. So I changed my mind and decided not to keep the appointment and got the charges reversed. I then went in and apologized because I had been upset and tried to explain but they said I had to wait for the OM. I waited 30 mins and then they said she would call me. Also, they flagged my husband's card as fraudulent and I was unable to take an Uber home and a patient gave me a ride home. Also, when I did speak to the OM she was so mean and bullying, that I cried afterwards.

Dr Glaser is a wonderful doctor. In fact the entire practice is very nice. I’ve been a patient for 6 yrs now and he’s the best pain doc I’ve ever had

I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Glaser and his staff. Very caring and compassionate! It's a nice feeling to know your Dr and their staff care and make sure you are comfortable.

I moved to the area without a replacement pain care doctor., in 2008. Due to rules in IL, I was unable to fill pain medicine, withdrawal, pain and oh, yes menopause. The first pain care doctor refused to treat me. Dr Glaser rigorously verifies, documents your diagnoses. Then there is always PT, hard and important in the process. And with any pain medicine, you are randomly drug tested to verify you are taking meds as prescribed and not taking recreational drugs or selling pain med. he does not run a ‘pill mill’. The nerve ablations have helped with unbearable nerve pain, yes multiple steps for him to show if it might help, for the patient and of course insurance. He is in great demand and you must plan around appointments you are lucky to get. If you follow the steps , he knows how to help you, more treatments and pain meds. Pain medicine amounts are minimal, and often require tapering off when possible and are increased as needed. Treatment flows with needs. Like all doctors, he… does not do treat you according to any initial request. And the staff and Alexis are amazing.

Dr. Glaser is very knowledgeable in his field. He's kind and patient. He explains your treatment and the expectation of seeing results. The staff is kind, friendly and very efficient.
