Dr. Groesch is THE MOST Caring and Professional doctor that I've EVER SEEN. I've worked in the the medical field for over 35 years and have worked closely with thousands of doctors over the years. NONE of the other doctor can come close to his thoroughness, professionalism and his ability to make his patients feel as if they'er his number ONE patient. Dr. Groesch is the best Doctor I have been to. He is concerned courteous and knowledgeable, I moved 4 years ago to Florida and I still go back to Saint Louis on a regular basis to keep him as my primary physician. Now that says something about the care I get.

Dr. Groesch is a great guy. He is attentive and proactive. His sense of humor makes it comfortable to see him. On the other hand, what passes for coverage at this practice is a scary joke. We had a terrible experience when he was on a few days vacation. We placed three increasingly frantic calls to the practice. No calls had been returned in two hours, even though on the second call I spoke with one of the switchboard operators and let her know that I was talking to her because he was unable to talk due to the chills he was experiencing. Not only did she hear from me repeatedly that he was extremely ill, she put me through a series of medical questions that she insisted SHE had to ask me to take to the "covering doctors." Supposedly she was writing down my answers. When no callback happened in another half hour we tried one more time before leaving for the emergency room. This time we got Dr. G's secretary who told me the covering doctor had said that my husband should make an… office appointment for NEXT WEEK AFTER Dr. Groesch returned! Within 3 hours in the emergency room it had been determined that he had a severe infection and he was receiving IV antibiotics. They wanted to admit him, but didn't since we live close enough to the hospital to be able to return should he get worse. I'm just thankful that we were able to take care of ourselves and that the consequences weren't any worse.

I have been a patient of Dr. Groesch for over 5 years, and he is great. He is always very professional, yet friendly and attentive. He is thorough in his exams and seems to be very knowledgeable about his field. his treatment has been invaluable to me.
