Dr Hammer is the best doctor that I have ever had. He is an active listener and attentive to what I have to say. I am always heard. We work together to be proactive in my health. I really appreciate that. I am able to contact him 24/7. I love that he is always researching and attending seminars/classes to keep up-to-date in the medical field. He shares any new information that he has learned. He is kind-hearted, thoughtful and is a top-notch doctor. He is truly interested in my medical care. Thank you Dr Hammer for the care you give to me and my husband. We love Dr Hammer!

Another reviewer sadly gave Dr. Hammer only 1 star simply because he reduced the size of his practice and joined a physicians network that requires an additional fee. What this patient did not indicate, however, is that participation in that network allows Dr. Hammer to see patients on a more timely basis and spend as much time with them as is necessary for comprehensive treatment. Now his patients can get an appointment within 48 hours. Plus the fee covers a very comprehensive (2-hour) annual physical exam. In addition, Dr. Hammer can now communicate with his patients through email with the aid of photos and other attachments. That allows for some follow up treatment without requiring a return to his office. He is a wonderful and thorough doctor, and I think is well worth the additional fee.

I've called this office twice today and been disconnected both times first time was by an answering service and the lady hung up on me the second time was on the automated answering service that had me on hold for over 20 mins only to disconnect me!!

Great doctor. He listens and learns about you.

Dr. Hammer is a great Doctor and has never refused my meds.He helped save my life and should get a 10stars.It is not dr. Hammer who got you unemployed.If something goes wrong in peoples lives they take it out on the people who done something with their lives. I am poor to and very ill. But I trust Dr. Hammer to take care of my health and try to find a way to get me better, GOD WILLING. .

staff is inadequate. Do not return calls. Fail to order prescription meds when called in. Wait time to see the Dr. is ridiculous!

Dr Hammer refused to refill my diabetes meds. Although he had in the past....I understand that blood work and follow up visits are required. However, I'm unemployed and only have enough money to pay for my meds and food. So now I'll need to see if I can survive without meds. I guess that being poor means nothing to doctors who make good money.
