Dr. Scott Hannen, DC

Dr. Scott K. Hannen (Enterprise, Alabama) may be a good chiropractor, but he’s not a doctor. After reading his book (Stop the Pain), I made an appointment with him via video conference. I regret that decision. He charges $300 for 25 minutes every two weeks and sells his own supplement line. He put me on his Thyroid Support and has jeopardized my thyroid function. When I told him my hair was falling out uncontrollably, he smiled and said it was hard to tell if my thyroid was hypo or hyper. In other words, he made a haphazard guess and put me on his Thyroid Support--he disregarded my bloodwork, medical diagnoses and has turned my life upside down. What he did was reckless, careless, irresponsible and inexcusable. I now have the nightmare of alopecia. He caused my thyroid to go haywire. Three months later and my (real) doctor is trying to regulate my thyroid. His practice of alternative medicine is dangerous. If you have significant health issues, it would be unconscionable for me to… recommend him. This review is my personal experience.
