Our experiences with Dr. Herbert have been very positive. He is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, and provided us with first-rate, state-of-the-art care. My wife has been cancer free for 6+ years due to his care. I have recommended him to others in need of an oncologist without any reservations.

Dr. Herbert was the most condescending, arrogant physician I have ever met. When I met him, he treated me with such disrespect. I am a scientist, yet he treated me as though I had no knowledge and was quite patronizing.

Dr Herbert , refused to let us see C D of. Scan that was done. And said we wouldn’t understand it. We I asked is it time to discuss hospice or palliative care He didn’t offer to have the palliative care team talk to us about our options. He just said, let’s wait a few days . As a result my husband died in the hospital in ICU and hooked up to all kinds of machines . Please give all information to you patients good or bad so THEY can make the decision Of how spend their remaining days

Dr. Herbert is a compassionate and well-informed oncologist. He knows what works, what can help, and how to convey difficult messages. Also, in co-founding the Integrative Medicine Center, he was part of a labor of love that has made a real difference in the lives of many patients, including me.

Scott Herbert ignores flow vital cytometry results, he fails to give patients the facts and relapse odds involving life and death treatments and outcomes. His lapse in judgment, lack of knowledge about specific treatments and failure to give his patients informed consent is morally, ethically and legally unconscionable. The standard of oncology care in Santa Fe is abominable.

This Doctor is not competent. He ignores vital test results, his treatment protocols are grossly flawed, he does not give patients informed consent.

This individual was a stand-in for my regular doctor. He was rude and not concerned with providing cancer treatment as per agreed upon protocol . Transferred my care to another institution without my consent nor that of my regular Dr. Would not recommend this individual.

He overlooked a critical treatment plan that resulted in cancer relapse and mortality.
