Dr. Scott Jerome Hiltunen, MD

Dr Hiltunen specialist yes but I chose himas my family Dr. He says "Im internal medicine you just need a family Dr are you switching soon?" I say, "Why would I switch you are the most emowering Dr I know, I'd like to stay if that is okay?" He says "its okay" He is the one I told "I learned what causes fibromyalgia flares! Its products use corn as filler. Patients can eat corn but light diet of corn. I omit all corn products I havent had fibro flare in a month" Dr says "omg one of my patients found root cause of fibromyaligia flare. My other patients be happy to hear of the good news. Good for you!" Its the least I can do right? Help Dr help other patients that suffer from fibro. Dr Hiltunen helped me overcome migraine headaches. I havent had migraine in over 4 years.

He seems to be selective on who he prefers to see and pawns off patients on other medical professionals, so makes it less work for him. He seems knowledgeable enough, but is at a place where it has taken him to a mode of, he doesn't care much. His staff is the most unhappy, unprofessional, and inaccurate people that I've seen at any medical establishment. Hope he considers private practice, it may do him some good.

He seems to know some things but clueless on others. Not very thorough with exam or diagnosis. If you have a cold or an ear thing going on, then he will do. Anything that requires some real thinking and follow up, go to a specialist.

Scott Hiltunen is probably the best doctor we have ever had. It was a sorry day when we moved from Sioux Falls and had to leave him. He's an awesome doctor and person as far as that goes. Miss him & staff greatly.

I have been seeing Dr Hiltunen for years and he is the best doctor I have ever had. He truly cares about his patients and cares how their treatment continues. I would highly recommend him.
