Dr. Scott Toki Himeda, MD

My experience with Dr. Himeda has always been pleasant. He takes the time to answer my questions, calls me personally with my test results. I am very satisfied.

I totally concur with the posted reviews. He prescribed pain meds for my mom's back pain, neglecting to inform us of side effects of severe depression. My mom actually tried to commit suicide. I only learned of this side effect from a coworker who had similar effects from that med. When asked about it Himeda acted like "so what do you want me to do?" This was not the only bad experience with him. He acts like he is so friendly but he doesn't care about his patients.

Dr Himeda is my mother's doctor. I made an appointment for her after she had surgery on her leg. Waited 45 minutes to see him. All he told us was to make an appointment with rehab. He was not concerned at all about her condition. He only talked about his own daughter. Several months later, we passed him in the building and my mom told him hi. He acted like he didn't even know who she was. He is the most uncaring doctor I have ever met. Seems he only wanted to be a doctor so he can brag about it. I continue to persuade my mom to change doctors.

I have found Dr. Himeda to be caring, compassionate, and thorough. He is one of the best doctors with whom I have dealt.

I went to this doctor for an issue and he was pretty much had an uncaring and conceded attitude. I've only been to him once and never went back. This guys is a major jerk!
