Dr. Scott Partridge Hoopes, MD

This is an amazing team of professionals!! From the patient support team, medical assistants up to provider level are experts in what they do psychiatric medication management, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and Ketamine specialty. They work from the heart and you can tell. I have entrusted not only my care with this team but my children's care as well.

I have not been doing well. These guys sent me letters for like 2 months over a 30 dollar debt I owed them, not even trying to get a hold of me to see how I was doing. I could have been dead and they wouldn't have known it but I guess they couldn't find a way to call me and see how I was doing because they couldn't figure out how to charge me for a phone call. They care mostly about money and not about the well being of the patient. As long as they get their money they are happy.

Dr. Scott Hoops and his staff are professionals of the highest order. I have never in my life received the level of care these people provide. Everyone, from Dr Hoops to the reception staff, to the nurses, to the counselors, to the practitioners, genuinely care about people. I wish I could give them more stars. Five isn't enough.

Doctor changed drugs and diagnosis regularly. Told teenager that they would never accomplish anything in their life. Teenager ended up having a thyroid condition and not a psychiatric condition. Especially if you are a female and have a potential psychiatric condition, rule out a thyroid condition. Check for antibodies against the thyroid in the blood. If other symptoms are present, you may have to get ultrasound to even get a diagnosis of Hashimotos thyroiditis. Do not trust this doctor. He is to prone to treating with unnecessary drugs

He is kind and couteous! He really cares about his patients which is evident in how he listens and pays attention to the individual needs. My sister sees him also. She is in pain and has little physical strength and he is the ONLY doctor I have ever seen pick up a car seat while cooing at the baby and walks my sister to her car!!! He helps put the baby in the car as well! He is just wonderful for adults and kids alike. My teens love him!

This is a terrible doctor! As a teenager I had psychological issues that ended up being caused by thyroid issues. He treated me with drugs for over a year and never tested my thyroid or considered other biological issues like this that manifest as psych issues. He never even came up with a diagnosis and was changing it every few months. RUN FROM THIS Dr and make sure that you have your thyroid tested if you have psychological issues!

He wants to diagnose people with certain problems that fit his medication preference. Gets an idea about your problem and won't consider other possibilities.

It only took me two office visits to know that this doctor is offensive and rude in his manner. He's too busy talking to listen to the patient. I never returned, and would never ever refer anyone to him. There are great docs but you may have to shop around before you find one.

My mom is seeing dr. Hoops for paranoia. She was switched to a new medication about 5 months ago. She started complaining that it was making her tired so he cut her back from two whole tablets a day to only one. Changing her meds that much is like shes not even taking them. Because of her paranoia she is now scared of her whole family because "we have a criminal conspericy agants her". We have tried several times to tell the office whats going on but its like no one is listening. She just had an appoint had dr. Hoops did not make any changed. Now its like im stuck without a mom and they dont care.

I would never recommend Dr. Hoopes to anyone. I had heard he was the best so I had to see him. I've never been more dissapointed! I saw him at least 8 times and every time I saw him, it was as if he had never seen me before. I went in for a PPD check up (postpartum depression) and he asked why I had so much added stress and I told him "Because of the baby" and he said "Oh, how far along are you?" Uhh...I have a 2 month old, that's kinda why I'm here for POSTPARTUM. Get it together. That was the last time I saw him. It was like that every time, he'd ask me the same questions over and over like he had no clue who I was. And I had had enough. Not to mention his front desk staff. They are rude and inconsiderate!!! Never going back and NEVER recommending that office.
