Dr. Scott Knappenberger

Dr Knappenberger diagnosed me with Pulsating Tinnitus. To find out the cause he ordered MRIs & a MRA. It was dicussed that due to a TBI I suffered in 2014 that in a previous MRI after that I had a seizure therefore he prescribed some medication I took as directed before the MRI. Unfortunately no fault of my own nor theirs a seizure occurred after something during the first MRI. His nurse told me he was out of the office until Tue but would be putting orders in for CT. I waited until that next Thursday called as no one ever called me back. I spoke to his nurse who had always been nice and piolite. She informed me that Dr Knappenberger had changed his mind. That he had said since I was unable to complete the test that he ordered he would not be ordering anymore any more test. I was taken back to day the least. I asked her... When were you going to let me know this? Has he never treated a patiented before with a brain injury? Is this how he treats patients with a disability? .... She… was frustrated said she would speak to him and call me back. Which she did that afternoon. She said He put orders in for a Doppler, you do know what a Doppler is don't you? (Disrespectfully) I replied Yes, I do. Then she told me he would forward my results to my Neurologist as he would not be treating anymore. WOW!!! My Neurologist was very surprised at this as well. She got me into their ENT the next Monday..... Julie (I AM A BRAIN INJURY SURVIOR... not less)

I took my 18 month old daughter to see Dr. Knappenberger for a consult for ear tubes and he was wonderful with her. She let him look in her ears, nose and throat with no problem. He took his time with answering all my questions and making sure that I understood the whole process of the surgery and what to expect. And even came back after her hearing test to make sure I did not think of anymore questions. I will refer everyone to him.

Had endoscopic sinus surgery to correct and open blockage from another ENT's work from 15 months prior. Dr. Scott Knappenberger was completely thorough, accurate, offers options, up front about recoup time and process. He and his staff kept in contact with me after the surgery to ensure I was doing well. Wish every physician was like him!!

Best doctor i have been to in years,I would recommend Him to any one he is great!

First visit sept. 2013,I had brought in results of thyroid test.He walked in tossed his clip board on table upside down and ask what can I do for you.would not discuss test at all.Told me to wait 6 months and do a second one.my primary care doctor said,well I guess that's ok but make sure you do follow up.They just called and said everthing is fine with test.Copy of test I got I think it will require surgery,lower left lobe has small tumor.going to someone else.Very arrogant and talked down to me,no respect for my concerns at all.
