Dr. Scott Langford

I was recommended to Rockhill Orthopedic by a close friend. I had high hopes in having my pain and discomfort addressed. I was scheduled with Dr. Langford. I have seen him now 3 times to address my pain. Each time my pain and concerns have been dismissed. 1st time, Dr. Langford literally drew lines and xd out the MRI report. He said it basically told him nothing and that I couldn't be having pain where I am, due to my condition. He offered a cortisone injection so I took it. Any relief was better than nothing. I have had 2 more injections over the last year. On my most recent visit, Dr. Langford told me he wouldn't recommend any further treatment and that it would get better on its own or I would just get used to the pain. Really! This was not from an injury! This is from a malformation of my bone structure! This dr. has no real concern for his patients. Its as if I was an interruption to his day. Never going back.

I saw Dr. Langford twice for a closed hand fracture. He was very thorough in explaining things to me and his decision about my splint I had on from urgent care made all the difference with issues I was having.

Excellent outcome of surgery for ruptured extensor tendon of thumb, both hands 8 years apart. I would definitely recommend Dr. Langford.

Went in with broken wrist at the ball & needed surgery. Extremely Rude. Seemed I was just a nuisance. Reprimanded me harshly & at length for falling & breaking my arm. He sent me home for 5 days before surgery with no pain meds. Should have went to another dr during that time but the pain stopped me. Had surgery. When he removed cast, i could not turn my arm over. It was stuck in position & literally would not turn. And trying to turn it was horrific. His attitude changed to fear & he sent me that minute to a therapy office. It took a year in therapy with 2-3 months before i could turn it without severe pain. It has been 16 years & i still cannot turn my arm normally & have minor pain from my elbow to my shoulder & in my wrist. I had to have a splint made with a ratchet mechanism to be able to crank & turn my arm during therapy. Horrible physician. Horrible person. Bad decision not finding someone else from the start. I will never trust another dr.

It has been a year since I broke both arm bones at the wrist. I am pleased to say I have full use of my hand and fingers! Thank you Dr. Langsford!

Very rough and no personality. Got the feeling he could care less. Will never go back.

Excellent Hand surgeon.

Dr. Langford performed carpal and cubital tunnel release on the right and left sides. Very pleased with the results. Was thorough and answered all my questions. Explained the procedure and what to expect during recovery.

Dr. Langford did three surgeries in two weeks on my hands. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a hand specialist. He was incredibly knowledgeable while being personable and putting me at ease every step of the way. Dr. Langford and his staff are amazing and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome to my surgeries.

My Son broke his finger during his football game and he was referred to Dr. Langford because of the nature of the damage to his joint. Dr. Langford was very straight forward and to the point. I loved his no b.s. personality some may find him strange because he doesn't do all the small talk but that was what I loved about him. My sons finger healed wonderfully and he is back to sports! I am thankful that we got to work with this Dr.
