Dr. Scott Leone, MD

I found Dr. Leone when faced with treating a life-altering, chronic condition. He has been a true partner in this journey, listening to my concerns and working to implement, track and adjust my health plan. As a bonus, he also educated me on the best preventative medicine for my possible future issues. Additionally, he has been an advocate with insurance companies, enabling relief for the first time in my life by recommending (and getting approval!) for new medication for recurring migraines. Now that I'm recovering from my initial condition, I know that I wouldn't have done it without him. I'm so confident in his care that my entire family has joined his practice.

Dr. Scott Leone has a very courteous staff and there is great flexibility when scheduling an appointment. The office wait time is only 5-10 minutes at the most. i give him my list of questions and concerns about my healthcare and he goes into great detail to answer all of my questions and has given me guidance in dealing with a health issue i have had for 5 months., which has been resolved. i feel very fortunate to have Dr. Leone as my doctor. Dr. Leone is very knowledgeable, personable and open minded. He is extremely thorough with his examinations, takes the time to listen to his patients and provides a level of care which far surpasses that of any PCP I've had previously. He is up to date with the most recent research and medical practices and is very transparent with his treatment plans. He's great at communicating and is efficient at following up with the results of testing that he has ordered. I'm most impressed with his attention to details and preventative medicine. This is something that I've never encountered with any of my prior PCPs. Great guy and great care!

As a new patient (eight months) and baby boomer who recently made a switch from a large primary care center to Dr. Leone’s SignatureMD concierge practice, I can attest that this was the smartest decision I have made in years. When health is your priority, only the best physician will do. Dr. Leone is sincerely interested in his patients. Visits are long and unrushed. The focus is prevention. If you are searching for an exemplary primary care doctor, it will be difficult to find a better physician than Dr. Leone.

Dr. Leone is a medically smart man, whom used to have caring PA staff. The only staff he has left that is caring and worth gold is Sue. There has been a big turnover at his practice, with staff and patients. He now has a concierge service, which means that he takes your insurance and also in order to see him personally, you pay an extra $1500+ a year to have him as your "private" physician 24/7 with long appointments. If you now don't subscribe to his service, you are treated like a peasant and feel like you should use a back entrance. I personally went to Dr. Leone for many years. All of a sudden, he didn't want to waste his time with me since I didn't pay his thirty coins of silver. If you are rich and don't mind paying extra, then he may be for you. If you are a "standard" patient, and have only one medical concern, don't mind getting short answers, no callbacks, treated like dirt, have scripts just cancelled on you, then by all means choose him!

Switched to a concierge service where you must pay an additional premium to see him. The premium is in addition to copays and premium for your medical plan. The additional premium he charges is more than $1,600 per year. Current members must pay for their records to be transferred to a new provider. This provider is just looking to make a quick buck and does not care if you cannot afford this service

D.O.'s focus a bit more on how lifestyle and good habits affect ones health than MD's. For people who value this difference, Dr Leone is the perfect choice. He was honest and told me what I needed to hear regarding how to improve my health through lifestyle choices. He was patient, thorough with my medical history and likely spent much more time with me than he needed to. He seemed to go beyond the call of duty. I would absolutely recommend him to any friend or family member.

We like having Dr Leone as our family doctor. He takes time to talk with us and does not rush through the appointment. We wish he would prescribe blood work prior to the visit so at the appointment the results can be discussed.

Dr. Leone and his staff are so kind, patient and caring. I always feel at ease going and also pushed my husband to change his PCP to go there. Great practice to go to!
