My “exam” took place in a dimly lit rather dingy waiting room. There was no receptionist. Very unprofessional, condescending would not answer questions or listen.A terrible experience. Spent all of 5 minutes.

Doctor Lipson doesn't Listen! After experiencing a headache for 2 months and a visit to the ER with the same issue, I have decided to visit a neurologist. The visit to dr. Lipson was such a waste of time, money and hopes for recovery! Dr. Lipson did not want to listen to my complaints, he got irritated basically from the start and jumped to the conclusions very quickly. This doctor made me feel like I am wasting his time, even though the whole appointment took about 5 minutes and I was the only patient in the office. Funny enough, even the medicine he prescribed made me feel much worse. Find somebody else if you want to see a REAL doctor!

I had a a couple of seizures only in the middle of the night. Immediately he told me I could not drive & if I did, he would report me to the DMV in order to get my license suspended. I WILL be looking for a new neurologist that can speak to me like a human being. This guy is a complete A-Hole!

The list of serious symptoms I told him were ignored . I could not understand his response and asked several times why more testing was not indicated. When I reviewed the consult note he provided my PCP he stated I had denied those symptoms and reported a normal physical exam that he did not perform. I work in health care and know that I was mistreated and a libel report of the visit was compiled to suit him dismissing me.

After seeing many generalists and specialists for literally years about a winged scapula, and receiving advice from the top orthopedists that there is but one solution, a radical muscle transfer surgery which would result in permanent muscular impairment at best, we came to Dr. Lipson for advice about the underlying nerve damage. He not only did a fundamental diagnosis, but ordered extensive MRI testing which none of the other specialists cared to order. This ultimately led to the discovery of the correct, underlying cause of the nerve damage, lymphadenopathy. Without Dr. Lipson's care, we never would have been able to get to the bottom of the issue.

I took my father to this Dr to diagnose Alzheimer's. He was very impatient, cold & impersonal when relaying the diagnosis to my father. My father was shocked with the diagnosis and was upset and confused, then Lipson told him he could no longer drive, in a very direct and mean way. My father was devastated and the Dr. was impersonal and cold and showed no empathy. I asked how could you be sure it's Alzheimer's? He responded in front of my father by say there's no way to really tell until the patient is dead and an autopsy is done. Nice.

Very patient and thorough in answering questions. Takes his time and does not rush a patient who has questions. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a neurologist.

Dr. did not seem real interested in my case, ,maybe my disease is not that interesting. Did not ask enough questions. I will see him with a new complaint , same disease and then decide if I will continue to see him.

Dr lipson is the most smug know it all rude doctor I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. He did not listen to my concerns or help me in any way. My son has epilepsy and I have been dealing with this for ten years, and now I am having the same problem but the doctor refused to listen to me about my experiences and insisted that I go stay at a hospital until I have a seizure even though I only have one every couple months, even though I told him that I have a job and three children and cannot just sit in a hospital for god knows how long. He refused to put me on any medication due to possible side affects, and doesn't believe I am having epileptic seizures even though I am experiencing the same exact symptoms as my son. I will not be seeing this doctor ever again. All he is interested in is getting paid.
