Dr. Scott Nelson Macgregor, DO

Dr. Macgregor is a fantastic doctor. Very knowledgeable and able to share his opinions in very professional manner, gave us clear understanding of my high risk pregnancy options. He performed the procedures with high degree of confidence. I am very fortunate to be under His care.

Dr. Macgregor’s professionalism and kindness will never be forgotten! My daughter is almost 8, my son almost 6. I am still thanking God, every day, for guiding me to the right hands!

I did not have the same experience as these reviewers. Dr. Macgregor was not agreeable. He is very opinionated, and pretty much you do what he wants or else you can go else where. I don't think for my pregnancy I will choose him as my MD. He is not approachable and very aloof. I think he is out of touch with a pregnant woman's needs and possibly should retire. We had to wait 3 hours for our appointment because he was late and forgot about it. This guy is not for me.

Dr.Macgregor is one of the best doctors I have consulted in my life. I had high risk pregnancy and he guided us throughout the pregnancy with indefinite knowledge and patience. He is not only well informed also he is funny and explains things that even a layman can understand easily. He is the one whom we can give our complete trust to make everything fall into its place.

My wife and I have interacted with Dr. Macgregor on numerous times and have found him to be calm, caring, confident and extremely competent. He listens and talks, is funny and has a good bes-side manner. He delivered our first via c-section and want him again! His group at Evanston MFM is fantastic - including all his colleagues.

I came away from my level II u/s w. Dr. Macgregor feeling like I have nothing to do except trust what he says and follow his instructions regarding my care exactly. Every question I had, he not only was able to provide an answer, but also give reasons behind the answer. He also intuitively understood why I was asking the types of questions, and as a result, was better able to address my concerns and make me feel fully informed. This is in sharp contrast to others I have seen in the past. Also, it was apparent he knew statistics and background as well as some of the newer literature. In addition, he has absolutely the most gentle touch during cervical exams thus far (I have had 8 by 6 different doctors). Thus far, I would voice that Dr. Macgregor should be the hallmark of quality care.
