Summary
Dr. Scott MacRae graduated from the University of South Alabama with a BS in Biology in 1985. He went on to graduate from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1989. He also completed a residency at the VA Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Dr. MacRae has been practicing for over 20 years and is a member of the Alabama Dental Association, the Mobile Area Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a level of achievement which is reached by very few general dentists nationwide. Recently, Dr. MacRae was recognized by the Consumer's Research Council of America as one of "Americas Top Dentists" of 2011
Dr. MacRae volunteers with the Medical/Dental Missions of the Episcopal Diocese of the Gulf Coast and with various local charities. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as sailing, gardening, and hunting, and he occasionally tries his hand at the art of cabinet making. He and his …wife Leanna, their son Cameron, and their daughter Anya are members of St Mary's church and school.
