Arrogant and verbally abusive if you question anything he says. When I asked to be on less medication he got angry and cut me off cold turkey causing frightening withdrawals. Please do not see him.

I cannot say enough about the expertise and effectiveness I receive from going to the north idaho pain clinic. Dr. Magnuson always takes the time to inform me of my options and any procedures he is going to do. I always get excellent benefit from the treatment! His staff is courteous and professional with noted compassion. I highly recommend him to anyone needing the services he provides! Thank you to Dr. Magnuson and his staff, I truly appreciate the care I receive at your clinic.

I had unnecessary steroid injections and radial obliteration of nerves in my back. Magnuson got so mad that I went and saw another orthopedic surgeon, who recommended a lumbar fusion, that he called his doc "buddy" and had him refuse to treat me. Doc Magnuson is a jerk. He screamed in my face that he will never give me opioids and then refused to give me the injections that visit because I stated that he was discriminating against me. Well, I found a real doctor and he got me in for my lumbar fusion within 2 months of my first visit. I Do Not Recommend Magnuson! He's terrible IMO

You wait a month to get in, then get told the only thing that'll help your situation is pain medication, but I wont give it to you cause you're not old enough. Its ridiculous. I understand the opioid epidemic, but u cant tell someone there only Avenue for relief from chronic pain is pain meds, then not give them to you. Completely counterintuitive.

This sites informmation is out dated (2012). I've been receiving injections from Dr Magnuson for over 5 years. From the front desk to total care during procedures is without flaw. Extreme care is taken during the procedures. I would highly recommend Dr Magnuson & staff to anybody.

Four visits, three procedures. Dr. Magnuson was professional, caring and explained everything. Staff was knowledgeable,efficient and friendly. I couldn't recommend an office more highly.

Too busy forming preconceived notions and not listening to the patient. Has a stenographer which was needed to challenge his poor listening skills and accusations. Why anybody would use this jerk is beyond me!

Dr. Magnusson is as arrogant as they come!! He is uncaring and a total jerk!!! Yes he is good at injections, but doesn't want to hear anything he doesn't agree with!! Refused to see me after nine years of going to him. Wouldn't even walk in the room and explain! I have always been on time for my appointments and always paid bills on time. I have known another person that was treated in the same way.
