Dr. Scott Michael Maron, MD

When I first went to him I was very impressed as his exams were thorough. He listened well. But since electronic records have been required the personal touch is lost. If he is typing snd you ask a question you are told to wait.. I don’t feel he is focused on the patient. Covid has made things worse. Telehealth visits are required and then follow ups with blood work. He lacks flexibility and the willingness to understand when a patient has a special need. Communication is difficult because questions must go through the office staff. Several times I have felt my issues were not addressed properly. He seems to have lost interest in his Patients and the personal touch medicine requires. For the most part his office staff is excellent and tries to be accommodating. However my last conversation with the office was unpleasant and the person was rude. I am thinking about looking for a new physician.

Found multiple posts where he likened supporters of the President to ignorant Brownshirts under Hitler. A man with that much hate in his heart concerns me. I will not go back.

I don’t comment a lot but after seeing some bad reviews I had to. Like a review said before me, I don’t understand why they would ever get a bad review. This will make me think twice when I read bad reviews for other places. I’ve been going to their office for years and the staff is great. Dr. Maron is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen.

My experience in this practice has been WAY different from the bad reviews posted here! I have been a patient here for 12 years and Dr. Maron, as well as all of his associates, has always treated me well. The staff is friendly (well- most of them, but everyone has a bad apple), the tech is top notch, the doctors and nurse practitioners care so much about me and the nurses call me to check on how I'm feeling. They're GREAT! I had an issue with my insurance denying something and the staff was so quick to help. I can't think of anything they could do to make me more happy.

A very well run and patient centered practice. Excellent care. Responsive to inquiries and requests.

Rude staff...Dr maron is not very bed side friendly, runs his office like a computer tech co.he is no longer my doctor

I have been a patient of the practice for over 10 years. I have seen just about every doctor they have (plus the nurse practitioners). Everyone is great. The staff is awesome. They follow up, they call with every result, they call a few days after your appointment to make sure you're feeling better if you were sick, I've never had an issue getting a same day appointment (which I've had to have a few times over the years), staff is knowledgeable. I could go on and on. I once had a billing issue where I didn't really understand why I had a copay but the billing staff was able to explain it in a way that I understood. Everyone seems to really take the time to make sure you are well taken care of. The computer system is so sophisticated and by the time I walk from the exam room to the hallway, the blood work lady already has my orders, the check out lady already has my prescription and a list of recommendations for the doctor or nurse practitioner. I was surprised to see any negative… reviews! I think most people only put a review online if they have had a negative experience. I, for one, have been to other doctor's offices in my life and they are BY FAR the best I've seen!

Went to Maron for two years. Staff is disorganized, recommendations to other doctors are dismal, zero follow-up or even notices to schedule my annual check-up. Maron treats you like a data-point to feed to his computer, and nothing else. Rushed, aloof, and he simply doesn't listen or care.

Caring, great diagnostician

Been a patient for ten years. Word of their office has spread, so it is hard to get an appointment sometimes. They brought in some Nurse Practitioners to help with emergencies and I had to see one. She was surprisingly really good-- up to the quality I have learned to expect. Got a call three days later to make sure I was better. I was!
