Dr. is fine but boy oh boy the condescending treatment from the office staff is terrible. You don't believe me - give them a call. You don't even need to come in to experience the rudeness. Try to book online and avoid eye contact with receptionist - this will result in "motherly" remarks and time wasting consequences.

HORRIBLE OFFICE STAFF. THE DOCTOR IS FINE, BUT IF HIS STAFF DOES NOT FOLLOW UP WITH GETTING BACK TO PHARMACY FOR PERSCRIPTION REFILLS, OR REMINDING THE PATIENT HE MUST SEE PHYSICIAN FOR A REFILL, OR DOES NOT RETURN CALLS....WHAT GOOD IS HAVING THIS DOCTOR AS A PHYSICIAN !!!! THAT IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. MASSIEN!!!

I have a lot of medical problems and I feel like Dr. Massien is right on top of everything. He helps to keep me grounded and well informed. I feel I am in great hands with him; and he communicates well with all my other specialists. Everyone is always in the loop of what's going on. The complete office staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help weather you are there face to face or over the phone. Keep up that great work.

I like the office staff and especially his nurse. very attentive. Dr Massien seems to care about his patients but also seems rushed like every other doctor out there.

I recently had a new patient appointment with Dr. Massien. My scheduled appointment was at 2:45pm. When I entered the office, I filled out all paperwork given and paid my copay. I was told it would only be a few minutes. Then a lady came in and told the receptionist, she appreciated being worked in without an appointment. She was taken back and I still waited (she did not state which doctor she was to see). Then a police/security officer came in and was taken back while I still waited (he did not state which doctor he was to see). Next, a lady came in and said she had a 3:30pm with Dr. Massien but was told to come in, as soon as possible. She was taken back while I waited. Lastly, a couple came in and said they had a 3:30pm appointment with Dr. Massien. They were taken back in five minutes. I went to the front desk and waited for about four minutes to speak to a receptionist. I informed the receptionist that at least two people with later appointments than mine were taken before me.… She told me I was wrong. I told her I was not and explained each situation to her. She told me she would look into it and to wait. She came back and said she did her job and did not know why this happened. She told me to wait again so she could see what was going on. She was gone for a few minutes and came back apologizing for being overlooked then she said and I am sorry but Dr. Massien will not see you. I asked why and she said because his last appointment at 3:30pm is a hard appointment because the gentleman is in a wheelchair and he has to do a physical. I could not believe what I was hearing. I told her I had a 2:45pm appointment and it was not my fault that someone did not do their job correctly and I was skipped. I drove one hour to get to this appointment and should be seen (though, it should not matter if I drove five minutes - anyone with a scheduled appointment should be seen). The receptionist stated that she told Dr. Massien that I drove a distance but he would not see me that day and if I wanted to see him I would have to come back next week. I asked for my copay and said I will never be back. I have never encountered a more unstructured office and rude doctor.

Your staff and you Dr.Massien are good at lying especially when you said i threaten you when you was not there back in 2012.Nikia is the one that cause me all of these problems for me to get the proper treatment with all of the lies that you told you should be proud of yourself.Krama is a mother.

Dr. Massien is the most caring and compassionate doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He is so attentive. He ALWAYS returns my phone calls and does anything that I have asked in a more than expeditious manner. I have never had to wait more than an hour for him to return a call or to call in a prescription when needed. He always takes my concerns seriously and does whatever he can to remedy them. I refer anyone that is looking for a great PCP to Dr. Massien. Most recently, I called his office and was told hat he was booked for the next 3 days. I was told that it was ultimately up to him is he would see me that day or not. Within 15 minutes, one of his staff called and stated that he would see me. The staff is always helpful and pleasant.

Terrible doctor! He refuses to return any calls. And when you do talk to him he seems uninterested. He really needs to find a specialty that does not involve patient contact.
