Dr.Mattsson misdiagnosed my two hernias after I was sent to him on a referral from the ER. He ordered a CT scan and from the results said there was no hernia, and went completely left field with talks of click bate diagnoses like IBS, C.diff, and Chrohns disease, and recommended I see a GI specialist. After I informed him that if my GI track was inflammed on the CT it was from a stomach bug that my whole family had the week before and I had no chronic gi symptoms, he still said he was fairly confident there was nothing he could do and that my pain was from a gi issue. I got a second opinion, one epigastic and one umbilical hernia later I'm very displeased. I wasted time, I wasted money, a CT wasn't needed to misdiagnose something that can be correctly diagnosed through physical exam. I will certainly do more research before I see any doctor, referral or not.
