Dr. Scott McGarvey is a remarkable Dr. I’m so grateful to a woman patient of his who referred me to him. She told me, “He’s the ONLY Dr. to see for anything foot and ankle related. He’s truly the best.” I wrote his name in my address book and 8 years later when I fractured I found myself in need of him. . I now agree with her wholeheartedly! I couldn’t have had better results from the surgery Dr. McGarvey performed to correct a double fracture in my ankle. He presents with a calm demeanor and confidence that’s matched only by his humility regarding decades of recognition for outstanding achievements, including many years of Best Dr. Awards in the MPLS/ST.PAUL magazine. Dr. McGarvey’s success rate in the field of Orthopedic Foot & Ankle care speaks for itself, which along with his standard of excellence makes him second to none! I can’t stress enough the vital importance of following all of Dr. McGarvey’s post operative instructions. He does his part to achieve the very best… result for you in each situation and we patients need to do the same.

Dr McGarvey was great. Surgical procedure on my foot produced a great result with very little postoperative pain.

Self important braggart who did not respond to my concern when there was still time to do something about it.

Dr. McGarvey and his wonderful Assistant Radora are amazing. I had a scheduled bunion surgery when I had an accident which required a foot surgery on my non-bunion foot. Dr. McGarvey fit me in right away (rather than seeing the doctor of the day in the TCO Urgent Care) and took great care of me. He thoughtfully considered doing both surgeries at once but with different recoveries helped me see that it wouldn't be a good option. I am 2.5 weeks post bunion surgery and almost 6 months post cork screw fracture surgery and I am doing great. I call Radora with any stupid question I may have and she answers it. Very, very pleased.

I am 2-1/2 weeks post bunion surgery and I am pleasantly surprised at how relatively pain-free the whole procedure and recuperation has been and how well I am recovering. Plus, I had my stitches out a few days ago and I can’t believe how straight my foot is now. Thank you Dr. Mcgarvey. You and your staff work wonders.

Excellent Dr. and Team!! Dr. McGarvey did my bunion surgery 10 years ago with a great outcome. Now I’m back with a fractured heal, and Dr. McGarvey, Rhodora his assistant, and his nurse assistant were just as kind and professional now as 10 years ago. If you have feet problems, go see Dr. McGarvey and his team!!

Dr. McGarvey is an excellent surgeon - he replaced both my big toe joints a few years ago; my results were excellent and sustained. I recently saw him again for a minor issue not related to the bunion surgeries, and was reminded of his gentleness in touching the injured foot, and of his honesty when discussing treatment options.

Dr. McGarvey diagnosed me with two ankle fractures and told me that I would just have to live with the pain I experienced when walking/running. I sought a second opinion and was told that one fracture was likely an old fracture and the other was unclear and may actually be ligament/tendon damage and I was referred to Physical Therapy. I have completed 10 PT appointments and have seen great improvement. I no longer experience pain when walking and haves started to run for short periods of time and have confidence that I will be close to pain free in a few weeks time.
