If you are having heart issues, go elsewhere. I am not being hyperbolic or exaggerating here. The few visits I have had with him have easily been my worst experiences with any kind of doctor. There are several things that I will not put here due to the Texas Medical Board complaint that I have filed, the VA advocate complaint and the complaint through Christus Health. What this man suggested to me to do can be very dangerous and when questioned on his care and suggestions, he became very defensive and cancelled a future diagnostic treatment of mine, due to that conversation. This isn't about his terrible bedside manners, it's not about him being extremely rude and defensive, it's about the care (lack thereof) that he provides. This can and will have an impact on someone's life if this what he continues caring for patients in this manner.

Do NOT go here if you value your life. This doctor cares less about you. We will be filing BBB report and looking into civil law suit for emotional suffering as his unprofessional and ethical manner could not be worse. Additionally writing to the medical board.

Absolutely the worst Dr. anyone could ever go to. He talks to you like you are not important he's rude, arrogant and disrespectful RUN, RUN....HURRY away from him.

Worst experience I ever had with a so-called "medical professional". Arrogant, condescending, and unprofessional. I nearly died waiting on him to make a decision even after he knew exactly what my condition was. He cannot even make eye contact when he is talking with you. Fails to provide information in a timely manner and would not return calls or respond to messages. Go elsewhere. Wishing I could award about 5 negative stars.

No bedside manners! He made me feel like I was waiting his time in being there and his rude mannerisms caused a spike in my blood pressure. I would NEVER recommend him as he unprofessional in every aspect. (1 star is an exaggeration....he deserves no stars!)

Don't ever go to this doctor if think he's going to be honest with you. He he's a self-centered doctor connected to your main doctor that recommends you to him. I went to visit him 2 months ago under recommendation of my doctor Jorge from Portland, yes you know who he is. I got results from a sonogram that showed that I had Plaque on both arteries on my neck. Finally I got a recommendation to the specialist mckingstry.??-- so I thought! Upon arriving to his office, the nurse finally put me in the back room waiting for the doctor to see me. As soon as he entered he said" You are good to go" I have never seen him and he has never seen me. Without doing any test he said they based on the reports from my famiy doctor and lab results, i was ok! I showed him the lab report that showed that I have partial blokage on my neck arteries, he said I don't treat patients like you-- you come back to me when you have a stroke. I told him I'm here because I don't want to have a stroke, and I'm… hoping you can help me prevent it. They told me it was good to go and let's go and told me to go the main desk to get paperwork finalized. I told my wife that if I do have a stroke due you to his failureto give me a proper examination, to sue him-- and she will

The staff was very polite. However dr. Mckenstry was very condescending and defensive. No manners, don't waste your time.

If I could give a -1.0 star, I would. This doctor doesn't know what he is doing or passes the patient's problems to another doctor, so he doesn't have to deal with them. During the whole appointment time he didn't seem like he wanted to there with him patient. Maybe he should find another profession where you can treat people with courtesy, respect, and dignity. Find another doctor ASAP. A doctor that actually cares about the patient.
