Dr. Scott McPherson has been practicing dentistry since 1983 and has specialized in orthodontics exclusively since 1990. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Emory University. In addition, he served as a dental officer in the U.S. Army for seven years.
Dr. McPherson is Board eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Association of Orthodontists, Northern District Dental Society and the Atlanta Area Sure Smile Study Club.
