Dr. Scott Allen Mcpherson, MD

It's easy to get lost in this big of a practice. Support staff is hit and miss. Front desk staff were not extremely welcoming. Dr. McPherson himself is a bit arrogant in his approach, in my opinion.

Very compassionate, but to the point and let me know about my diagnosis. Gave me options, but also sound advice. Very informed and was great with follow up. Remembered the details.

Extremely poor bedside manner, very uncompassionate. Came across as judgmental and it seemed as if I was a burden.

This Dr. had in his possession for about 3 months a very important diagnosis for my unborn child and never informed me. I received an ultrasound upon first choosing this Dr. to check the size and make sure everything was ok with my baby. I was told that the ultrasound was fine and there was no need for any more. About 3 months after this initial ultrasound I decided to switch Dr.s because I wanted to know the sex of my baby and this Dr. wouldn't do another ultrasound because he said, "its not medically necessary." The day I switched Dr.s not more than 30min after leaving my new Dr.s office I received a call asking if I was ever told about a possible defect on my baby's stomach that was found in the first ultrasound. I said no and received a new ultrasound from my new Dr. to confirm or deny their suspicions of a defect. My baby was diagnosed with an omphlacele and I should have been getting monitored closely throughout my pregnancy, something dr. mcpherson failed to inform me. If i… hadn't chosen to switch drs for something as pety as to find out the sex i wouldn't have known until i delivered that my son needed surgery.
